Outdoor playgrounds are always fun to see. The quality of your preschool or Montessori experience will certainly improve if your child has access to fresh air and play space rather than a small room. Make sure playground equipment is clean and safe. Is the walking surface smooth? How old are you?
- Hygiene
Hygiene is always a deciding factor when choosing a nursery or Montessori. Whether it’s a nursery in Cork, a nursery in Dublin, a modern nursery in the city or a small family business in the countryside, attitudes towards hygiene can change dramatically. For kindergartens: are the changing rooms clean and tidy? Does each child have their own station with portioned lotions etc.? Are there gloves and sanitary pads?
